Within the Health \& Employee Benefits Center of Excellence (H\&EB CoE), we support AXA's ambition to become a global leader in health insurance. Through our Health Data Factory initiative, we leverage AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI to address key challenges such as predicting claims costs, optimizing healthcare pathways and enhancing medical provider performance. Today, one of our main priorities is tackling medical inflation: healthcare costs are rising globally, but not always at the same pace across countries, medical specialties or provider networks. Accurately anticipating these trends is critical to pricing health insurance products, managing profitability and supporting business decisions. To address this challenge, AXA has developed innovative detection and predictive solutions combining: Segmentation and Clustering techniques Time-series forecasting models (Prophet/Neural Prophet) External healthcare and economic indicators Market Event Detection Tool (Scraping, GraphRag, LLM) After successful pilots in several countries, these solutions are now entering a new phase: deployment and industrialization at an international scale. As a Data Scientist in AXA, you will contribute to: Collaborate with AXA's global health entities, contributing to projects deployed across multiple countries (Mexico, Turkey, Hong Kong). Work closely with local teams and observe real-world applications of your models. Design and implement predictive models to improve claims forecasting and risk assessment. Develop tools to detect early market signals impacting healthcare costs and medical inflation. Use clustering algorithms to analyze portfolio behaviors and recommend tailored actions (e.g., re-pricing, product evolution, targeted prevention campaigns). Contribute to building and scaling AI and GenAI-driven modules supporting health cost containment and care optimization. Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions across AXA entities to spread best practices and innovative solutions. Votre profil ---------------- Strong foundations in Machine Learning, Statistics and predictive modeling. Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries. Curious and analytical mindset with a strong interest in solving real-world business challenges. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in an international and collaborative environment.
